Education

First Nations, Metis and Inuit Education Program

The FNMI program ensures district schools are responsive to the needs of Aboriginal students by offering various learning services.

An office dedicated entirely to advising native students is currently located in the University of Lethbridge's Registrar's Office and Student Services.

Sik–Ooh–Kotoki Friendship Society (Lethbridge)

Improves the quality of life for Aboriginal people in an urban environment by supporting self determined activities which encourage equal access to and participate in Canadian society.

Health and Social Services

Native Women's Transition Home Society

This organization is committed to improving the quality of life for single parent Native women and their children who are in transition while adjusting to living in the urban environment.

Opokaa'sin Early Intervention Society

This organization was created as a joint partnership by various First Nations partners as an effort toward prevention and early intervention for First Nations children within Lethbridge and surrounding regions.
